Free Range Poultry in France
All our birds roam free-range and include Chickens and Muscovey Ducks.
Our Geese are Embden and Toulouse.
Muscovies are superb meat birds producing 50% more breast meat than other duck breeds. They make excellent 'broodies' and will hatch out goslings and chicks as well as their own ducklings.
We keep a selection of hens for egg production whilst our table birds include Coucou de Rennes and Counou, bred specifically for their excellent meat quality.
Geese are natural grazers and an elegant addition to the farm. Their dark meat is fuller-flavoured than turkey and is a popular alternative for the festive season.
In addition we breed free-range turkeys. Our birds our raised on grass and are supplemented on wheat and maize to ensure their meat is both flavoursome and succulent.
Ducklings and Chicks are available early June.
